GCOS Domain configuration:

The Gulf Coast Ozone Study (GCOS) UAM-V® modeling domain consists of the following nested grids over the Southeastern United States:

Grid 1: 49 X 38, 36-km cells
Grid 2: 93 X 72, 12-km cells
Grid A: 45 X 54, 4-km cells
Grid B: 45 X 45, 4-km cells
Grid C: 171 X 72, 4-km cells
Grid D: 54 X 72, 2-km cells

The GCOS modeling effort also included the application of the MM5 prognostic meteorological model on a slightly different multiple nested grid configuration than that depicted here.
